Among the top 12 contestants of Miss World 2018, she became the second Nepali to win the Beauty with a Purpose award, following in the footsteps of Ishani Shrestha. Shrinkhala Khatiwada also received the multimedia award in the pageant prelims, placing her among the top 30 finalists.

Professionally, she is an architect and has actively participated in various social activities. Her father, Birodh Khatiwada, is a CPN (UML) leader and a member of the central parliament, while her mother, Munu Sigdel Khatiwada, is the president of CPN (UML) Makwanpur district. Shrinkhala Khatiwada has an older brother named Bimba Khatiwoda, who currently resides in Australia.

In addition to being a beauty pageant winner, Shrinkhala Khatiwada is recognized as a charismatic model. She holds the title of Miss Nepal World 2018 and is particularly well-known among the younger generation in the Nepali community.
